Pastor's Message
Matt 11:28 - 30
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

The Church of the Living God Temple #235 mission and goals are aligned with District 11 vision and goals.
We envision the Church of the Living God, District 11, to be a full service 21st century church that excels in producing generations of disciples and Christian workers from a diversity of cultural and social profiles through the threefold objective of exaltation of Jesus Christ, edification of believers, and evangelization of the world.
Specifically, we envision our church to be a church where:
1. Worship is a profound and life-transforming encounter with the Living God in an awe-inspiring and joy-filled setting;
2. Members, from different social, generations, and cultural backgrounds, come to worship God and have fellowship in our church family—praying, loving, learning, growing, laughing, serving and living in harmony together;
3. The hurting, the depressed, the frustrated, the confused, the sick, the needy, the tired, the young, and the aged can find love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness, guidance, rest, renewal and encouragement;
4. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is preached to residents near our local churches;
5. Every member reads, studies, loves, and obeys the Word of God, and all the leaders and co-workers love the Lord devotedly, serve Him faithfully, and care for others unselfishly;
6. Every member is disciple into spiritual maturity and becomes disciple-makers of Jesus Christ through Bible studies, prayer groups, cell groups, fellowship, seminars, and retreats;
7. Every member is equipped for a significant ministry by helping them discover the gifts and talents God gave them and is empowered for a personal life mission in the world;
8. Members as Christian workers are continually sent out to witness in the local and surrounding communities monthly;
9. Become faithful stewards of God's financial blessings where all lead sheep and members commit to tithing, offerings, and all Biblical giving.
